The SPLASH! Environmental Awards are the first and only dedicated environmental awards for the swimming pool and spa industry in the world.
The awards are held every two years, with the winners announced at SPLASH! on the Gold Coast.
The 2008-2009 Awards were a great success, and the 2010-2011 Awards are expected to be even better. Following increased attention on the environment, both nationally and globally, and major advances in energy- and water-efficient swimming pool equipment, 2010-2011 Awards will include a number of new product categories.

The HM Awards for Hotel & Accommodation Excellence are now into their sixth year and are the leading awards for the accommodation industry. In the last four years, over 1300 people have attended the HM Awards and more than 130 awards have been awarded to hotels across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
The HM Awards are annually hosted and presented by leading industry magazine HM - Hotel & Accommodation Management. It recognises excellence over a range of categories, from people and departments to properties and chains.
“In so many awards ceremonies, it’s all about the hotel itself. But the HM Awards are really about the oft-forgotten fact that the industry is so much more than just bricks, mortar, king size beds and goose-down pillows. It’s the people that make hotels what they are and that’s why we believe they should receive the most recognition,” says James Wilkinson, editor of HM - Hotel & Accommodation Management magazine.
Annually, over 600 different properties are nominated. After a lengthy voting process by a key judging panel involving 50 industry professionals and travel media, the finalists and winners are then decided.

The Intermedia Group's hotel and liquor publications - National Liquor News, bars&clubs and Australian Hotelier annually present the Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) - the gala industry event attended by over 700 members of the liquor industry.

The Inside Film Awards are the people's choice awards for Australian films and in 2010 will celebrate its 12th awards event. The event is held in Sydney and broadcast on SBS and SHOWTIME in November each year.
